bayernhafen Bamberg supports the ‘goolkids e.V.’ support group

Bamberg, December 2018 – Through its ‘Spenden statt schenken’ (donations not gifts) campaign, bayernhafen once again supported another deserving organisation this year. bayernhafen Bamberg donated € 3,500 to the goolkids e.V. association in Bamberg. At bayernhafen’s ‘Wunsch Punsch’ customer event Branch Manager Michaela Wöhrl handed over the donation cheque to one of the association’s board members, Robert Bartsch.

Sport connects people – whether young or old, big or small, whatever nation or religion they belong to – and also promotes team spirit. The Bamberg goolkids e.V. network’s goal is to foster and develop free access to sport and social interaction. With the aim of integrating socially disadvantaged children, it organises projects and activities together with children, such as enabling children from disadvantaged families or refugees to join sports club or attend training camps. The children take responsibility step by step, walking the path of fairness, tolerance, friendship and respect.
